'Capoeira'

David da Costa presents this splendid serigraph, capturing the intensity of Brazil's traditional Capoeira, basically a cross between dancing and martial arts, in a beautiful naif style. One dance swings his leg in a kick while the other ducks - all executed in choreographed precision. In the background, a musician keeps the rhythm using the traditional Brazilian berimbau string/percussion instrument.
